M.I.K.E. is an interactive public art project created in collaboration with the municipalWORKSHOP.   As an architectural sculpture, a public performance space, and a community-based music program, MIKE engages people   through visual and sonic creativity.

M.I.K.E. is a functional sculpture, assembled using the parts of a typical Wisconsin farm storage bin, found architectural components, and integrated electronic technologies.   Embracing the tradition of regionalism in the Midwest, this altered vernacular form celebrates the unique landscape of Sheboygan while simultaneously pushing the creative boundaries of structure, function, interactivity and place.

The first CD recorded in the structure, M.I.K.E. Volume I, was written and produced by Stuart Hyatt and was performed by the community members of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
